Sponsoring a child is just the beginning of an amazing adventure. There are many ways to get to know your sponsored child and let them know that know that they are special;
Jono is a friendly and active boy living with his grandmother and siblings because all the parents died. They live in small shelters made of mud walls and bricks roofed with iron sheets. The family has to make routine repairs on the huts. The children share old beddings. The family practices small scale farming for a livelihood, however, they are affected by pests, soil erosion and soil infertility. An often low yield makes it difficult to provide enough food and to produce an income sufficient to meet other basic needs of the family. Jono attends school five days a week and his favorite subject is Mathematics. His dream is to become a Doctor. With your sponsorship, Jono will receive support in accessing basic needs.
